Right of Withdrawal, Cancellations, and Refund Policy
Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Derecho de Desistimiento)
Pursuant to the Spanish General Consumer Protection Law, the students have a legal right to withdraw from the enrollment agreement within a period of 14 calendar days from the date the contract is signed, without assigning any reason and without incurring any penalty.
Execution of the Refund: If the student exercises this right within the 14-day window, SBS Swiss Business School Madrid will refund all sums received, including tuition and administration fees, without any deductions or retention of expenses, within 14 calendar days from the date SBS Swiss Business School Madrid is officially informed of the withdrawal decision.

Statutory Exceptions and Immediate Extinction of the Right
In accordance with consumer regulations governing digital content and services, the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal shall be completely extinguished and rendered void immediately upon the occurrence of either of the following events before the 14-day period expires:
Academic Commencement: The student attends or participates in the first official synchronous session, class, orientation, or academic seminar of the program (whether in-person or online).
Access to Digital Content: The student accesses, logs into, or activates their user account within the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE/LMS) or downloads any digital pedagogical materials provided by SBS Swiss Business School Madrid.
Once the service has commenced through academic participation or digital access, the student loses their right to a statutory refund, and the standard institutional withdrawal terms below shall apply.
Institutional Voluntary Withdrawals (Outside the Statutory Window)
Non-attendance does not constitute official withdrawal. SBS Swiss Business School Madrid must be notified by email to academics@sbs.madrid if any student wishes to leave the program.
For any cancellation or withdrawal requested after the 14-day statutory period has elapsed, or after the right has been extinguished due to academic/VLE access, the financial liability is governed by the following deadlines relative to the official program start date:
